‘Glimmering Greenhouses’, Holiday Overlay for ‘Living with the Land’, Dazzles at EPCOT
The ‘EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays’ kicked off yesterday, much to the delight of Park Guests. We welcomed back old favorites like the Candlelight Processional, and new shows, like the spectacular new Holiday effects on Spaceship Earth.
Another EPCOT favorite for the Festival of the Holidays is the Holiday overlay at ‘Living with the Land’. This year, the display of lights and decor throughout the greenhouse area is titled ‘Glimmering Greenhouses’. Streaming the Magic was able to check out the display on its premiere night! Here are some highlights from our trip through the Greenhouse:
Entering the Greenhouse through the tunnel, Guests are surrounded by red and green, and are given a sneak peek at what’s ahead in the greenhouse!
Up ahead, the path is lit with twinkling lights and Guests are greeted by snowmen! We enter the aquarium room to snow light effects on the walls and ceiling, and a Mickey face and presents off to the side.
After exiting the Aquarium room, Guests are greeted by the infamous large Mickey topiary, who is also dressed up for the season!
Larger than life Holiday Ornaments are seen throughout the displays next to signage, and twinkling lights line the shelves with tiny plant starts:
Towards the end of the Greenhouse display is the laboratory, which shines brightly with hot pink snowflakes in the windows! Guests then exit the Greenhouse back through a tunnel that is also lined with red and green strings of lights.
‘Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses’ is an absolutely magical Holiday attraction that is sure to delight any Guests this Holiday Season! Want to see the magic for yourself? Check out our LIVE from Epcot last night here!
