Club Cool, Mousegears, Fountain of Nations and More Epcot Updates

Following today’s release of everything that is closing or being relocated we now have some more specific dates. All of these changes are part of Epcot’s Future World re-imagining and we will get a lot more details during D23 Fan Expo in August.

Club Cool a crowd favorite spot to try Coke products from around the world (Beverly anyone?) is permanently closing September 8th. According to the official @WDWToday Walt Disney World twitter account “Club Cool will be closed on September 8th. But not to worry, elements will be incorporated into the new offerings as part of Epcot’s evolution”.

Mousegears, the mega gift shop at the center of Future World, will close by the end of the year and it will be refurbished. So hopefully we will get it back.

Innoventions East, a shell of the former experience where you can find Colortopia will close permanently September 8th.

Art of Disney will close permanently later this year and most of the merchandise will be transferred elsewhere until it finds it’s permanent home at the American Adventure Pavilion.

Camera Center and Pin Central will also close by the end of the year.

The Fountain of Nations will close permanently on September 8th.
