During the Adventures by Disney South Africa vacation itinerary, guests embark on a three-day safari where they can encounter wild African lions up-close! This incredible experience takes place at the beautiful Kapama River Lodge and private game reserve, home to some famous lions of their own. The reserve is known for its coalition of three brother lions who dominate most of the reserve and their elusive father, who is revered by both rangers and guests as the majestic “one-eyed lion.” 

While at Kapama River Lodge, guests set out on early morning and sunset game drives in search of the “big five” – lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos and buffalo – along with other captivating exotic animals and more than 350 species of birds.
