Shaun Weiss (Goldberg) Says He’s Left Out of Disney+ Reboot

Mighty Ducks is getting a reboot on Disney+ and many of the original cast members will be returning. One well known character though was not invited to return.

Shaun Weiss, famously known as Goldberg who played the Ducks’ Goalie, says he was not contacted about returning for the reboot. According to TMZ, Shaun did not specifically say why he thought he was not invited but close friends of his say it’s due to his past battles with drug abuse.

Shaun has since been a year sober & has turned his life around for the better. Shaun says he hopes Disney will think of bringing him back for possible future seasons.
