Monorail Station At Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Now Open
It’s the monorail stop we’ve all been waiting for!
Just this morning reports broke out from guests on social media that they were among the first to use the newly reopened monorail boarding station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Guests were reportedly thrilled that the refurbished station was once again available for use. The monorail station at this resort underwent a long refurbishment that had stemmed from just after the Covid reopening in July of 2021 when the Walt Disney World parks were shut down for months.
Since the monorail had been closed all this time, the only modes of transportation made available to guests at this resort were either resort bus or motorcraft to the Magic Kingdom park. This is a very welcomed back transportation offering that will once again allow guests ease to get to other monorail resorts and the Transportation and Ticket Center where they can disembark the resort monorail and hop over to the monorail that will take them straight to Epcot.
Is the monorail your favorite way to get around the Magic Kingdom resorts and Epcot? Let us know in the comments if you’ve been anxiously anticipating this station’s reopening.
