BREAKING: Volcano Bay Closing for Winter Season
Starting November 2, 2020, Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay Park will be closing for the winter season. The scheduled closure is expected to last no later than March 2021.
The website FAQ section states the closure is for annual and seasonal maintenance in several areas of the park. At this time there is no plan to continue the seasonal closings each year.
Those whom have already purchased tickets have options.
Guests who have already purchased a single-day ticket for Volcano Bay will be able to modify the date of their visit by calling (877) 801-9720 or through the Official Universal Orlando Resort App.
3-Park Seasonal and Annual passes that are valid beginning November 2 will receive two additional months to compensate for Volcano Bay’s seasonal closure. If they’d prefer, passholders also have the option to modify their pass to a 2-park pass and be reimbursed for the Volcano Bay portion of the remainder of their pass term. Passholders can visit Guest Services in the theme parks for assistance.
