VIDEO: Trailer Released for ‘Rogers: The Musical’ at Disney California Adventure

Extra, extra, read all about it! Beginning this weekend at the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure, guests will finally have the opportunity to see ‘Rogers: The Musical’ live on stage.

Disney has released a trailer for the new show, and we could watch this all day. Take a look:

The Disneyland Resort website provides a summary and more details about the limited time run of this marvelous show.

In theatrical splendor, relive the life of Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America! The musical retelling takes you from Steve’s humble beginnings during World War II to becoming Captain America and leading the Avengers. Be on the lookout for appearances by Peggy Carter and Nick Fury—and watch some of your favorite Avengers assemble in epic, show-tune style.

Disney also shares that ‘Rogers: The Musical’ will feature five all-new songs, “with music by Christopher Lennertz and lyrics by Jordan Peterson, Christopher Lennertz and Alex Karukas”.

Guests looking for a premium viewing experience can also purchase first access to seat selection. This premium experience gives guests the opportunity to have:

  • First access to the theater in order to select seats
  • Reserved seating in an exclusive lounge area in front of Stage 12, where you can relax before entering the theater
  • A Rogers: The Musical souvenir popcorn bucket with red, white and blue kettle corn and your choice of a Coca-Cola® bottled beverage, available upon arrival and before performance time
  • Priority access to a photo opportunity, with your photo taken by a Disney PhotoPass photographer

To purchase this incredible experience at a price of $29, guests can visit Studio Catering Co. in Hollywood Land. They will also receive a souvenir lanyard at the time of purchase. The Musical Premium Viewing Experience will be available until it’s sold out for the day or until 90 minutes before the last show. Guests will go to Stage 12 at the Hyperion Theater to check in up to 90 minutes before their showtime and will be let into the theater about 30 minutes before the show begins.

In addition, Disney encourages guests to utilize the virtual queue for this show. Joining the virtual queue is highly recommended, and additional viewing for each performance may be available via a standby queue on a first-come, first-served basis, if capacity allows.
