Video: Johnny Depp, Is That You?
When Disney fans think of Johnny Depp, the first thing that comes to mind is everyone’s favorite pirate; Captain Jack Sparrow. Depp, most well known for playing Jack Sparrow in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ films, has been notably absent recently following a bitter court battle with ex-Wife Amber Heard. Their legal drama unfolded for all of the public to see, turning into a must-see TV event.
Since the end of the trial, Depp has been quiet, with the future of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ films uncertain. As we reported in November, there have even been plans to continue the Pirates franchise with a female-led cast (which was scrapped).
However, we have uncovered video which may be proof that Depp is hiding from us in plain sight. Instagram user @chasingmagicdaily shared this video of a Character interaction with Captain Jack Sparrow, and the resemblance is uncanny. Everything about this Jack Sparrow is spot on, from the way he speaks to the way he moves. We’re not convinced that this isn’t Depp himself! Is that you, Johnny Depp? With no news on Depp’s return to the role of Jack Sparrow in the films, we will wait and see what comes next.
