Twitter Responds After Filmmaker Tweets “Make Marvel Male Again”

It’s well-know that Marvel Studios has a fierce, loyal fan base. With some of the biggest blockbuster films, and loved Disney+ series, it’s hard to compete with the power of anything Marvel adds their name to.

In recent years, Marvel has made a considerable effort to bring inclusion and diversity to their storytelling. From films like ‘Captain Marvel’ and ‘Black Widow’, to shows like ‘Ms. Marvel’ and ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’, Marvel is bringing stories of various backgrounds to the big and small screens.

However, it seems that not all of the fanbase approves of this move. Filmmaker Chris Gore shared his views via his Twitter. He believes that Marvel should “Make Marvel Male Again”, and shares a clip of an iconic scene featuring male superheroes:

As we would expect, the replies are mixed. Many replies are calling him out on his views, even stating that Stan Lee himself wouldn’t approve of only male-led storytelling:
