NEW: Trail’s End Restaurant Officially Closed, Refurbishment Underway

It’s the end of the road for Trail’s End Restaurant at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. The table-service dining location, a local favorite for many Disney guests throughout the years, has closed its doors. As we have shared, a reimagining of the space is scheduled to get underway, as Disney transforms it into a quick service location.

Disney has released a statement to inform guests of the closure:

Trail’s End Restaurant is closed for refurbishment and will reopen in summer 2023. During this time, P&J’s Southern Takeout mobile ordering and The Chuck Wagon food truck are available.

When the space reopens to guests in summer 2023, it is anticipated to be a quick-service marketplace style eatery.
