Toy Story Land Restaurant ‘Roundup Rodeo BBQ’ Delays Opening Until 2023, Offers Look Inside
Table-service dining is getting ready to have some toy-sized fun in Toy Story Land! We’re excited to share that, although delayed from the original timeline, ‘Roundup Rodeo BBQ’ will be opening in Toy Story Land in Spring 2023. This restaurant in Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will feature BBQ favorites, and touches from the ‘Toy Story’ films throughout the restaurant.
Today Disney Parks shared a sneak peek at the interior of the restaurant. The interior is similar to that of the queue to the ‘Toy Story Mania’ attraction, with larger than life toys and decor around the restaurant. According to Disney Parks, “Imagineers collaborated with Disney Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney World Food & Beverage to design this one-of-a-kind dining experience”, and we are excited to share images of the inside!

Using his imagination, Woody’s Roundup toys, and other playthings, Andy has built a rodeo restaurant for all his pals. We are excited for guests to enter the dining room and discover just how much fun Andy had creating a rollicking place for honorary toys to enjoy barbecue-inspired comfort foods served family-style, with platters of house-smoked meats, a roundup of sides and some miniature sweet surprises along the way.
In addition, Disney Parks shared that much of the artwork found in the restaurant is unique to Toy Story Land, giving a new spin on Characters we know and love. “What we are really excited about with bringing these toys, games, and sets to the park is the collaboration with our pals at Disney Pixar Animation Studios to design figures unique to this restaurant and artwork that can only be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Imagineers worked closely with animators and designers at the renowned animation studio to bring characters and art from the films to life in new ways unique to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They even designed full comic strips about Woody’s adventures, which Andy has used as part of the dining room ceiling!”
We are so excited to try this table-service option when it opens next Spring! What do you think of ‘Roundup Rodeo BBQ’? Let us know in the comments!
