‘Te Fiti’ Arrives at EPCOT, Huge Addition to ‘Moana’ Attraction

‘Te Fiti’ has arrived at EPCOT.

We’ve been watching for months as progress has slowly been made in the construction of the new ‘Moana’ attraction. Titled ‘Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana’, this attraction will be an interactive water trail located behind Spaceship Earth in the newly designated ‘World Nature’ section of the Park. Guests will be immersed in the stories of Moana and Maui, as they wander the through the attraction. “Stroll along a self-guided outdoor trail where you can play and interact with water as it travels from the sky to the oceans and back again. Along the way, learn about the importance of water and discover its playful personality—just as Moana did on her heroic voyage”. (DisneyWorld)

Today we received an update with some truly huge news on the project! Standing at 16 feet tall, ‘Te Fiti’ was welcomed this morning into her final position on the trail, as shared by Walt Disney Imagineering on their Instagram. Check out how massive ‘Te Fiti’ is, and the full announcement below:

We cannot wait to see the completion of this new attraction, slated for completion in 2023. What do you think? Are you excited for this new addition to EPCOT? Let us know!
