Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Changes Names on Menu Items

In what we can assume is an effort to appeal to a broader audience Disney has decided to change the names of the menu items in Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.

Original names were given to items like Tip Yip (chicken) Yobshrimp (shrimp) and Felucian Garden spread (hummus), this was in an effort to give guests a more immersive experience as you dine in another “planet”.

It seems they have decided the menu items were not clear enough, even though a description was posted under each “alien” name, and so this is how the menu looks now:

Beef Pot Roast

Beef Pot Roast, Pasta, Wilted Kale, Mushrooms $18.99

Smoked Pork Ribs

Pork Ribs, Blueberry Corn Muffin, Cabbage Slaw $16.99

Shrimp & Noodle Salad

Chilled Shrimp, Tangy Marinated Noodles, Vegetables, Green Papaya, Cashews $15.99

Fried Chicken

Crispy Chicken with choice of Vegetable Mashed Potatoes with Herb Gravy or Macaroni and Cheese and Roasted Vegetables $15.49

Same items just no Batuuan names anymore. Although I am sad to see the land going more mainstream I understand the change and hope people now are more adventurous in eating at Galaxy’s Edge.
