Sleeping Beauty Castle Emerges from Behind the Tarps
Just in time to welcome guests to the newest land at Disneyland, Sleeping Beauty castle has been unveiled after being behind tarps since January as part of Project Stardust, a plan to enhance the overall look of the entire park.
The castle now seems to glimmer and glisten over the blue rooftops. Main refurbishment was done to the roof which was damaged during the 60th anniversary. A new “atmospheric perspective” is used with the paint themes to give the castle the look of being taller at various elevations. The Walk through experience will reopen on May 24th .
What do you think? Do you like the new paint job?
