Rise Of The Resistance Standby Crowd Wraps Into Hollywood Studios
Today is the first day that Disney has dropped the virtual queue line option for Rise of the Resistance and the jury’s still out on if this was a smart move or not.
Prior to park opening, wait time screens were seen as anticipating a 75 minute wait for the line. Judging by the pictures of the crowd prior to rope drop (where guests are officially allowed to enter the attraction lines) it seems there were tons of guests that couldn’t wait to get an opportunity to ride.
Just after 9am, Inside the Magic was able to capture this screen shot showing that the 75 minute wait had bumped up to 150 minutes. And more recent photos circulation suggest the wait times to be well over 220 minutes currently.
What do you think? Was this a smart move to make this attraction standby only or would you be in favor of returning to the virtual queue line again?
