Refurbishment Extended at Disney’s Beach Club Villas
With construction and refurbishment projects slowed in recent years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney has recently picked up speed on things that had been previously put on the back burner. This year, a number of Walt Disney World Resorts are currently under refurbishment to better guests experience, one of those being Disney’s Beach Club Villas.

When refurbishment began in early January, the original announcement from Disney stated that work at the Beach Club Villas would be done sometime in April. Now, the end date for the work has changed to “late this fall”, as shared via an update on the Walt Disney World website:
From January 7, 2023 through late this fall, Disney’s Beach Club Villas will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Resort amenities will remain available for your enjoyment. While you may see or hear construction during daytime hours, you should not hear noise from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 AM.”
Guests who were anticipating this work to be done before their summer trips should take note of this change, as the work that was scheduled to be complete by summer vacation now seems to be continuing through the busy summer months.
The current remodel of the Beach Club Villas includes interior changes to the rooms, including updated decor, flooring, and the installation of sofa beds to maximize space in the rooms.
We are excited to see the updates to the Disney’s Beach Club Villas when they are complete later this year!
