NEW: Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk to Close for Refurbishment
Trattoria al Forno Restaurant, located along picturesque Crescent Lake at Disney’s BoardWalk, is set to temporarily close.
This fan-favorite Italian restaurant has been a staple on the BoardWalk, serving guests for breakfast and dinner. Much of the BoardWalk area, as well as the resort itself, has seen its share of refurbishments. Updates include refurbished guests rooms including the Innkeeper’s Club lounge (for Club Level guests) and changes to the lobby area with the addition of the Carousel Coffee shop. We’re also seeing huge changes on the BoardWalk, with the reimagining of the ESPN Club into the Cake Bake Shop.

According to the Walt Disney World website, Trattoria al Forno may be next to see some changes. In a message shared today, Disney announced that guests can expect to see Trattoria al Forno close temporarily in June, with no dinner service and a modified breakfast service. Check out the announcement below:
Please note: Trattoria al Forno will be closed from June 11 to June 17, 2023 as it undergoes refurbishment. No dinner offerings will be available. However, Trattoria al Forno will provide a limited breakfast menu during those dates, with Guests who book breakfast being directed to dine in the Flying Fish dining room.
Guests with plans at BoardWalk or in the Crescent Lake area in June should be aware that Trattoria al Forno will be temporarily unavailable when making their dining plans. Fortunately, guests looking for dining reservations have no shortage of options. With Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club just across the lake, and EPCOT World Showcase dining a quick walk away, there is something for everyone!
