NEW: ‘Big Thunder Mountain Railroad’ to Close for Refurbishment Next Month
‘Big Thunder Mountain’, a fan favorite attraction at Magic Kingdom, will be closing next month for refurbishment.
Due to lower park attendance and cooler temperatures, January is a popular month for many areas of Walt Disney World to undergo refurbishment.
As of today, ‘Big Thunder Mountain Railroad’ will be closed from January 9-13, 2023. At this time we are unsure what areas of the ride will see improvements, but Guests visiting at this time should plan accordingly if ‘Big Thunder Mountain’ was on their must-do list.
