More Information on Rise of the Resistance Attraction

Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is opening this Thursday. The most anticipated, immersive land ever to open at Walt Disney World will serve plenty of Star Wars moments but to ride it’s signature attraction we will have to wait until December 5th.

We have had very little detail on Rise of the Resistance until now. Scott Trowbridge, lead imagineer on the project, has shared some more information on what Disney is calling the most technologically advance attraction on property.

The biggest reveal so far is that this premier attraction will have 2 ride systems. One will be a trackless portion (seen on the video below) and another a simulator portion, where troops (the riders) will be taken into an escape pod to be pulled (dropped) back into Batuu.

In the attraction you will encounter General Organa, Rey, Poe Dameron and Kylo Ren, along with First Order Stormtroopers.
