MCO Puts Out Travel Warning For WDW Vacationers Ahead of Busy Travel Week

MCO is the most frequently used airport by many travelers coming and going to Walt Disney World.  As Thanksgiving travel begins, the airport has issued a travel advisory ahead of their busiest season.

MCO is expecting whopping 1.75 million travelers to pass through their doors within the next 12 days.  This matches the record set in 2019, the busiest year on record at MCO.  Of these days, Saturday, 11/26 is their busiest day, with 165,100 people anticipated at the airport.

Mears, the busing company which replaced Magical Express earlier this year, also issued a statement.  They shared on their Facebook page that they “expect congested roads and traffic delays both at the airport and Disney area”.  They also stressed patience as “arriving guests may experience longer than usual wait times and our departing guests should allow extra time at the airport”.
