Meet the family that beat everyone to Disney’s Newest Island Destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point:
The Wagoner family just happened to be on vacation 45 miles north of Disney’s newest cruise line destination the same week Disney Magic was setting sail for the first passengers to visit the island.
Staying at a vacation home in Governors Harbour, they first drove an hour to Cape Eleuthera, then chartered a boat for another 45 minute ride to get to Lighthouse Point.
Because it’s considered public land they were able to walk up to the beach and enter the Disney site. Cast members were welcoming to the Wagoner family and invited them to take a tour and even allowed for them to take photos & video.
