Final Closing Date Potentially Delayed at Trail’s End Restaurant
Fans of Trail’s End Restaurant at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort may be in luck for a bit longer! We previously announced last month that the table-service restaurant would be permanently closing on April 17. Disney’s intent with the closure is to refurbish and reopen to guests as a quick-service marketplace style eatery.
According to official posted hours for the restaurant, we now believe that the time line for operation has been extended! Disney has announced new operating hours through May 7, meaning this could tentatively now be the last day of operation.

Trail’s End Restaurant is a favorite among guests at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Open for breakfast and dinner that is served family-style, Trail’s End favorites include their cheesy breakfast potatoes (part of their breakfast skillet), and delicious BBQ meats in their Smokehouse Skillet for dinner.
We will be watching to see if this closure date pushes back further in the coming weeks. Will you miss Trail’s End Restaurant, or are you excited for the revamped quick service option?
