Fantasmic! Schedule Changes Coming Next Month at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Since its return on November 3 of last year, Fantasmic! has been incredibly popular with park guests. After the extended closure during the pandemic, fans of the nighttime show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios have welcomed the show back with open arms. Fantasmic! has recently had two showings per night to accommodate its returned popularity in combination with spring crowds at the Parks.

Heading into a “slower” season at Walt Disney World, Fantasmic! will be cutting its nightly show back, from two shows to one show per night. According to the operating calendar, Fantasmic! showings will cut down from two shows per day to one, starting Sunday, April 23, 2023. Each nightly showing will begin at 9pm. The operating calendar reflects this change through the end of May 2023.

The dates between the end of spring break and the start of summer break are typically less crowded, so this change reflects that crowd level expectation. We would expect to see Fantasmic! return to two showings per night once summer break vacation season heats up.
