Disney to furlough all non-essential cast members

The Walt Disney Company announced that all non-essential U.S. Disney Cast members will be furloughed starting April 19th.

Anyone that is furloughed will remain a Disney Employee during the temporary shutdown & medical benefits will continue. Also, if you’re currently part of the Disney Aspire program through your employment, that will not be impacted.

There is still no word on when these park closures will end.
