Disney Springs Showcases Incredible Artwork For Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Visiting Disney Springs this month? You’ll definitely want to check this out!

For Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Walt Disney World is showcasing the work of artist Emily Ding at Disney Springs Art Walk: A Canvas of Expression. The artwalk, a popular feature of Disney Springs, showcases the amazing artwork of diverse groups of artists who are invited to use the creative space.

In a collection this month for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Emily Ding of Houston created artwork titled “Taking Flight”. As a huge Disney fan who “grew up on Disney magic” with a love of Disney’s ‘Mulan’, Ding was thrilled to bring her creative talents to the big stage of Disney Springs.

Emily was excited to share her creative vision with guests, and shares that her collection has a specific meaning for her as the artist. “It’s about possibility and opportunity and optimism, and finding ones own way to take flight, and finding ones own magic”.

Be sure to visit Disney Springs Art Walk to see the art of Emily Ding for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month through the end of May.
