Disney Grant Helps Local Healing Organization
The Disney Company has always celebrated children and families and has supported the U.S. Armed Forces by honoring their service. This has been a Disney traditions that dates back to the founder, Walt Disney, himself.
Disney decided to surprise McCormick Research Institute with the official news that they are a 2019 Disney Grant recipient. The $75,000 will be used to invest in their life-changing equine-therapy programs, Heavenly Hooves and Horses & Heroes, designed to empower veterans and children with special needs to continue healing emotionally and physically through compassion and therapy.
