Trulli

The holiday season is a special time at the Walt Disney World Resort. Many of your holiday favorite events are coming back and one that seems to be a crowd pleaser is the Candlelight Processional. This year Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays runs from November 29th through December 30th, bringing traditional food and drinks, Holiday Storytellers for each Country, beautiful holiday decorations appropriate to each culture and once again the Candlelight Processional will take center stage at the American Gardens Theater.

The Candlelight Processional is a stunning performance of the re-telling of the story of the birth of Jesus, through a complete orchestra, magnificent choir and a celebrity narrator that will take us through the entire journey. The Processional is performed three times a day at the American Gardens Theater located at the American Adventure pavilion in World Showcase, at 5pm, 6:45pm and 8:15pm.

The partial list of crowd favorite celebrities that are confirmed so far is:

  • Whoopi Goldberg – 12/6-12/7
  • Pat Sajak – 12/16-12/18
  • Steven Curtis Chapman – 12/22-12/24
  • Edward James Olmos – 12/25-12/26

We will continue to keep you updated as the list grows and becomes complete.

To ensure a seat for any performance of the Candlelight Processional you can book a dinning package from one of your favorite restaurants. Booking for the Candlelight Processional Dinning Package begins July 3rd and if you are thinking of booking don’t wait. Some of the nights are very popular depending on the celebrity and they tend to book and sell out faster.
