BREAKING: Splash Mountain Permanently Closing in January

We’ve been waiting for this news; we can officially announce that we have a date for the permanent closure of ‘Splash Mountain’.

Walt Disney World has announced that Splash Mountain will close forever on January 23, 2023. Guests have until that date to ride the attraction with it’s current theming, before it is closed to make way for renovation.

As announced earlier this year, ‘Splash Mountain’ will be replaced by an attraction honoring ‘Tiana’, the title Character from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film ‘The Princess and The Frog’. The attraction will be called ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’. More on these details to come!

As this news is developing, we will be sure to update right here on Streaming the Magic.
