BREAKING: ‘Hey, Disney!’, the Amazon Voice Assistant, Arrives at Walt Disney World

‘Hey, Disney!’, the complimentary Amazon Echo device announced to be coming to Walt Disney World Resorts, is on its way!  Guests staying at the Polynesian were informed today that Cast Members would be entering Resort rooms to install the devices.  Guests staying this week are fortunate enough to be the first to test the functionality (and fun!) of the device.

‘Hey, Disney!’ can do a variety of things for Guests.  It can answer park and resort questions, such as bus times to and from parks.  It is also interactive with the newly released MagicBand+ bands.  Simple things, like making requests for more towels, are also possible using the device.  It can be used as as alarm clock to wake up guests with a message from Mickey!  Also, we hear it’s full of jokes, can play stories, and even school Guests with a round of trivia.

‘Hey Disney!’ is a great new interactive service that we cannot wait to try out!  Stay tuned to Streaming the Magic as we learn more about this new device.
