BREAKING: Candlelight Processional To Make Return To EPCOT International Festival Of The Holidays!
It will be a merry season indeed!
EPCOT’s famous “Candlelight Processional” will make its debut once more for International Festival of the Holidays this coming season. The festivities are set to run from November 26th through December 30th and has been a long standing staple in the Disney parks. This processional got its start in Disneyland back in 1958 and has been enjoyed annually at Walt Disney World since 1994, with the exception of last year.
Candlelight Processional performances will return to the American Gardens Theater and will once again feature a live orchestra, cast choir, and (drum roll)….celebrity narrations just as it has in years past. If you’ll note the change in the cast choir versus the traditional hosted choirs this is to keep everyone involved with fully vaccinated status and we’re really looking forward to hearing the cast members sign their hearts out! Disney Parks Blog has noted that Disney is hopeful that the hosted choirs may have an opportunity to rejoin the stage again next season.
The Candlelight Processional follows mixture of joyous melodies to live music while carefully crafting the Christmas storyline into a well read narration by many beloved celebrities from around the world.
Disney has yet to release a celebrity line up and further information on dates and times for these performances. However, once they do, we’ll be certain to update you here!
