Another Animal Kingdom Attraction Set for Refurbishment Starting November 1st
And the news from Animal Kingdom attractions just keeps coming!
Disney just announced plans to take Expedition Everest out of commission for a few months starting in January of 2022, and now they have announced yet another refurbishment for one of their most popular attractions starting November 1st, 2021.
Kali River Rapids was recently announced to be undergoing an extended refurbishment later this year with no set date for reopening. The last refurbishment this attraction saw was in January through March of this year and that was even extended from its original planned reopening.
Historically, water-based attractions usually undergo refurbishment during the winter months of the year due to the decrease in demand and dropping temperatures so this doesn’t come as much of a shock but we’re curious to know just how long we should expect this popular attraction to be out of commission…and that is still unknown at the time of this reporting.
